Turn on / off mobile hotspotTo turn on or turn off a mobile hotspot over Wi-Fi, follow these steps: From any Home screen, touch the Menu key.Touch Settings.Touch Wireless & networks.Touch Tethering & Wi-Fi sharing.Touch to select the Wi-Fi sharing check box to enable Wi-Fi  sharing.Your phone starts sharing its mobile network data connection via Wi-Fi.Your phone starts broadcasting its Wi-Fi network name (SSID)so you can connect to it with up to five other devices.Your phone’s  default SSID is LG-C800_##.Back to topTo share you mobile data connection with a computer over a USB cable, follow these steps: Connect a USB cord to the phone, then to a computer.Touch the Back key.Important: Do NOT select Turn on USB storage.From any Home screen, touch the Menu key.Touch Settings.Touch Wireless & networks.Touch Tethering & Wi-Fi sharing.Touch to select the USB tethering check box to enable.If prompted on a Windows XP computer, click Next to install the driver software  via the Found New Hardware Wizard.
